Talking about Pat's granny, my mom, They had a close relationship. She was very loving and he was super happy, she had a farm we would visit with a pond, in N.J.(it was Mom's day and May 3 was her birthday. (1924) She was of the 'E' name generation like she was Elaine. Her sister was Eloise. I recently met a Eunice. Sorry to digress...

Here is something I really wanted to say:

When I work on Pat's book, going through photographs or scanning writing of his, but mostly photographs, it can get really depressing pretty fast. Makes it hard to spend time working on stuff related to Pat.
So, I know how it feels and it's part of getting through things and emerging on the other side a happier person. It's like dealing with pain. Pain is necessary to evolve and reach a happier better layer of existence.
